The IWC recycles everything it can, but by removing this packaging in advance, we can do the following:
1. Lighter boxes to ship to London. We estimate we can save at least 4 Tonnes of weight in shipping and waste disposal. It's good for the environment, too.
2. Producers save money by not sending marketing packaging
3. It saves many man-hours in removing packaging and waste disposal.
4. More sustainable and environmentally responsible.
Please DO NOT use polystyrene as internal box packaging. Polystyrene is not always recyclable, and much of it has to go into landfills, which is environmentally damaging. It is also very expensive to recycle.
There are many excellent cardboard box solutions available globally. Please use these solutions. With our consolidated shipping services, you do not need to use extra packaging, as these boxes are palletised and protected during the shipping process.
